Greg Stanko
Senior Partner Greg is the public relations pro who can turbo charge a successful campaign or refocus a waning effort -- regardless of industry of PR discipline. Prior to Mitchell Point, Stanko worked for 14 years at Ogilvy Washington where he specialized in devising and implementing communications and Washington visibility programs for public affairs clients. At Ogilvy, he handled advocacy-based media relations campaigns for clients including SolarWorld, DuPont, LexisNexis, Earthlink, the government of Puerto Rico and the American Chemistry Council. This included outreach to trade reporters, print and broadcast reporters, columnists and social media leaders at general interest outlets, trade publications and online outlets. Stanko also managed third-party outreach programs for SolarWorld, a coalition of rural telecommunications companies and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He has written op-eds for clients that were published by The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, The Washington Times, The Huffington Post and numerous regional and trade publications. Under his own name, he has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Christian Science Monitor, The Baltimore Sun and The San Diego Union-Tribune among other publications. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Greg worked at the Economic Strategy Institute (ESI), a Washington think tank, and the Republican staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He has a bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a German minor, from Drew University. |
